Jounda was an artist, a lover of all things, and an extraordinarily loving and powerful human being. She taught me so much of what I know—not only through her words, but through the way she lived, loved, created, dreamed, and cared for others.

Her light continues to guide our path and the purpose of Healing Life Center.

Together, we envisioned a sanctuary devoted to healing and service—a safe haven where people could come exactly as they are, feel heard and seen, reconnect with themselves, and find peace within the chaos of life.

We called this vision the eye of the storm.

Although my mother is no longer here in physical form, our work together has never ended. Her love is woven into the foundation of Healing Life Center, guiding and inspiring me as the vision we shared continues to unfold.
